At every LOOM meeting we have a Pea Drawing. If the pea numbers match the last two numbers on your Moose Card you could win 1/2 of the pot. You must be in attendance. The pot continues to grow each meeting, so attend those meetings on the First & Third Wednesdays. You could be the big winner. While your there you could volunteer to Host a Friday Night Steak night or a Saturday Night Meal. It's just helping out at the lodge.

Come as a friend. Welcome Moose members to our lodge, Big Bear 2085. This is my campaign letter. We have a lot of incentives to renew our members and bring new members to our fantastic and fun lodge. California/Nevada Moose Association has “Give Me Gas”. Sign up two members or former members and receive a $10.00 gift card to be used at the Convention in March in Reno. Sign up 5 members to receive a $25.00 Gas Card or 10 members to get a $50.00 Gas Card. Hence, give me gas does not include beans. All this lasts until April 30th 2012. Moose International brought back the sign up two members and receive free membership next year. Sign up 4 members and receive a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas, Miami or New York City. This is not impossible; one of our members won a Sea Cruise. Five members receive the Five Club Award which entitles you to the Five Club Party at Convention, lots of fun plus a American made Cutlery Set. Sponsor 100 members and go to the 2012 Convention in Tampa Florida. Transportation and 5 nights FREE. Sign up your next member and we will wave the $20.00 sign up fee. Last year our lodge increased our enrollment by six members. We showed up for every meeting and convention and received Superior Community Service Award. We were one of only 92 lodges to do this. Pat yourself on the back. This year as we stand, December 2011we are down about 16 members. Let’s bring the enrollment up. I don’t want to leave our new Governor with a deficit in members when I leave office. With all the campaigns I don’t see why we can’t bring this lodge to double our membership. All functions, all the meals, all the charity and the volunteer work by our members our women and our Legion makes this a proud lodge to be the Governor and a Legion member.
